Adventure travellers take note: Your dream trip is up for grabs—and wild places will benefit.

World Tourism Day marked the return of the Adventure Travel Conservation Fund (ATCF) Auction—the world’s premier adventure travel and gear auction supporting global conservation. After last year’s success, which raised $114,000 for critical projects around the world, the ATCF is aiming even higher this year.
The 2025 auction runs to October 22, giving travellers plenty of time to place their bids. A full preview of this year’s offerings is available now on the ATCF Travel Conservation Auction page.

Turning Wanderlust into Conservation Wins
The ATCF Auction combines adventure with purpose. Each fall, the organization brings together trips and outdoor gear donated by some of the most respected names in the adventure travel industry. Bidders can secure an awesome trip and help ensure that wild places and cultural treasures remain protected.
It has become the largest and most respected adventure auction of its kind—one that connects passionate travellers with a deeper cause. Last year’s bidders helped safeguard biodiversity and strengthen communities around the world. This year, the momentum continues with an even broader slate of trips and equipment, proving that meaningful travel and meaningful impact go hand in hand.

More Than Trips—A Chance to Protect
The ATCF was created to unite the global travel community around a simple but urgent mission: to protect biodiversity, strengthen climate resilience and support local communities in fragile and beautiful places. With traditional conservation funding sources shrinking, this auction has become a lifeline for grassroots organizations doing vital work in regions where both wildlife and culture are under threat.
Bidders can secure an awesome trip and help ensure that wild places and cultural treasures remain protected.
“In just eight years, we are proud to have awarded over $800,000 USD to 53 projects in 29 countries,” says Steve Barker, ATCF chair and founder of Eagle Creek. “The quality of this year’s trips and gear shows how deeply the adventure travel industry cares about protecting wild places.”

Unlike traditional travel deals, the ATCF auction blends personal adventure with global impact. “The beauty of the ATCF auction is that you can secure an incredible trip with a trusted operator and at the same time support conservation,” Barker adds. “Your trip dollars directly fund our work, and the relationships forged often last long after the trip.”
That’s what sets this event apart: every bid is both a ticket to adventure and a direct contribution to safeguarding the planet. Donors know their generosity creates lasting value, while bidders walk away with experiences that reshape how they see the world.
Respected Operators & Gear—and Epic Deals
This year’s lineup is bigger and bolder, with more than 80 items. Bidding starts at 50 per cent retail value, so epic deals are on offer from the get-go. - A 16-day journey through Nepal’s Annapurna region
- A 4-day gorilla-viewing lodge stay in Uganda
