A friend recently posted a video of buddy hanging by his backpack off a chairlift. And true to form of the modern era, there’s a GoPro on his head to catch the whole embarrassing spectacle. The experienced snowboarder/skier can only think to themselves, “What a tool.” Just like watching someone snowboarding in track pants, or ripping down the mountain sans toque and goggles in -15 degree weather, you can’t help but think, WTF are they thinking?
Yet I suppose we all have to start somewhere right? We’ve all fallen off a t-Bar, struggled with a Poma, or double ejected on a magic carpet right?
But have any of us straddled a rope tow? While this isn’t new footage it’s always worth revisiting.
