An optimized pattern helps minimize material waste, and a fully recycled fabric with single-material construction simplifies recycling at the end of the pants’ life. On snow, Mammut’s Dry Tour 3-Layer waterproof laminate provides durable, breathable weather protection, while carefully considered details—zippered ventilation, an adjustable waist—add everyday functionality. We’re tough on our pants, so we especially appreciate the durability of the integrated snow gaiters (and their anti-slip grip) and the reinforced Cordura seam edges and ski edge protection. We also like the 7 per cent Spandex in the material mix, which adds a lot of flex when you need it (and means less worry about tearing seams). And the Spandex combined with the adjustable, roomier fit means you can comfortably layer over a pair of fleece or puffy liner pants.
