MEC Eyas Daypack

Sized just right for kids, the Eyas makes it easy for your young adventurer—your ā€œeyasā€ (i.e., juvenile hawk)—to carry everything they need for the day. With enough space and internal organizers for notebooks, a lunch kit and a few snacks, it balances capacity with a comfy and durable design. Made from recycled ripstop polyester and finished with a PFAS-free water-repellent coating, it stands up to daily wear while keeping belongings protected. Contoured shoulder straps and a moulded foam back panel lined with breathable air mesh help the load feel lighter. Just to be on the safe side, reflective daisy chain webbing improves visibility. With an internal name label and bluesign-approved materials, this bag is both practical and sustainable.

MEC Heritage Newt Suit

The perennial favourite Heritage Newt Suit, updated for 2025, brings back the durable nylon fabric parents loved in earlier versions, complete with waterproof PU and PFAS-free DWR finish. Rain, puddles and mud shed easily, while taped seams prevent leaks so kids stay dry and happy no matter how soggy the day. Full-coverage design means there are no gaps to come untucked during climbing or crawling. A hood with a brim and elasticized sides keeps raindrops off small faces, while snug (but not pinchy) cuffs at the wrists and ankles seal out water. Reflective trim boosts visibility.

MEC Outpost 60L Gear Tote

The new Outpost 60L tote is built to keep your load organized, weatherproof and easy to carry so you can focus on the mission ahead. Made from recycled 420-denier nylon with a tough 1680-denier PU-coated bottom, this tote resists abrasion and wet ground, ready for everything from campsites to arenas. Carry options are versatile—use the sturdy shoulder straps and grab handles like a duffel, or sling it on your back when you need to go hands-free. A padded compression strap keeps everything secure and prevents overspill, while an exterior pocket, divider and key clip ensure small essentials stay within reach. Accessing your gear is simple thanks to the oversized YKK zipper with rugged pulls that work even with gloves. Use it to haul kids’ sports gear, your own ski gear, travel accessories, groceries—anything and everything.

MEC Aquanator 2.5L Long Jacket

A little rain and gusty weather shouldn’t hold back young adventurers, and with the Aquanator 2.5L Long Jacket for girls, it won’t. Built for wet-weather play, this jacket keeps kids dry and comfortable without weighing them down. Its relaxed fit layers easily over sweaters, while reflective details add visibility. Designed in-house as part of MEC’s Aquanator line, it’s made from 100% recycled, Japanese-milled 50-denier ripstop polyester, backed by a VarioShell waterproof-breathable membrane. Fully taped seams prevent water from seeping in, the front zipper is shielded by a Velcro storm flap to block wind and rain, and adjustable cuffs provide a snug seal. Longer coverage ensures puddle-jumping doesn’t soak their clothes, and when the fun is over, the whole jacket stows neatly into its own pocket.

The North Face Borealis Tote

With its clean tote-style shape and functional design, the Borealis Tote is equally suited for commuting, errands, travel, or time spent at kids’ sports events. A bungee compression system on the front and sides keeps everything stable, while the stand-up structure makes packing and unpacking simple. Inside, the main compartment includes a secure-zip pocket for organizing smaller items, and a padded laptop sleeve (up to 16 inches). On the outside, a zippered pocket offers quick access to essentials, while two bottle sleeves double as multi-use pockets (with one designed for fast phone access). Parents will doubtless appreciate its durability and capacity for long outings, with space to stash everything from extra mugs to extra layers. Details like easy-grab zippers and the option to carry it over the shoulder or as a backpack add comfort and flexibility, making it a practical bag that moves smoothly between work and everyday life. It’s also made of 100% recycled materials.
