Recent advances in science continue to reveal the brain’s mind-blowing complexity and central role in who we are. Undoubtedly the brain controls our wellbeing, forges our uniqueness, and drives us forward—but it is also very fragile and needs protecting. Breaking a bone is painful, but fixable.

Damage the brain and you enter a world of uncertainty and danger. That’s why POC conceived of the Whole Helmet Concept where innovative materials, integrated electronics and rider-optimized details are at work before, during and after an impact.

Very lightweight and well-ventilated, the helmet features an optimized liner with an extended PC shell and aramid reinforcements to enhance structural stability and protect against penetration impacts. Designed for a seamless fit with POC goggles, the ventilation channels have also been optimized to ensure goggles do not fog up and impair vision.

Adjustable Ventilation? Check.

We’ve come to expect an adjustable fit from helmets. But adjustable ventilation? That’s progress for today’s all-conditions riders. The Fornix ventilation (and fit) is fully adjustable, giving you optimum temperature and comfort control whether trekking in the backcountry or skiing the pistes in extreme conditions. The helmet also features POC’s silicone pad technology SPIN and of course a fixed goggle clip for extra security.

Pair with: POC Fovea Clarity Pow JJ Goggle

Clarity lenses redefine what it means to see on the slopes. Developed with optical industry leaders Carl Zeiss Vision Sunlens, the lenses filter specific peaks in the colour spectrum to enhance all-day precision vision. Exclusive Spektris mirror coatings have been developed for different weather conditions: sunny, partly sunny and overcast, giving unparalleled vision in any weather.

Combining these lenses with a goggle designed in collaboration with POC team athlete Aaron Blunck ensures maximal vertical and peripheral vision is never interrupted. A soft frame and triple-layer foam ensures a comfortable and secure fit on any face shape, and provides flexibility and comfort in even the coldest conditions.
