Eleven years ago, the folks at RMU Outdoors started building skis in a garage in Frisco, CO. In a short time they were earning international awards with their handcrafted ski lineup. The success of their skis allowed them to open concept locations in Breckenridge, CO, and recently in Whistler, B.C. These have since become hubs of innovation in our mountain communities.
RMU is an inclusive mountain company. They connect people to the mountains, people to people, and people to the mountain lifestyle. So it was a logical sequence that they would start up a mountain biking equipment line as well.
RMU designed this line to address and solve the problems they faced on a daily basis as mountain bikers. For the last five years they have been testing, refining and developing what they consider to be the ultimate kit: the MTB Cargo Collection. Now it’s launched on Indiegogo, with loads of perks. Tailgate Locker 2.0
The Tailgate Locker has weatherproof 840D Nylon with Carbonate + PU coating to hold up to the elements and four aluminum buckles keep things secure. Its insulated beer pocket has a food-grade liner to keep the funk out and locking zippers to keep your precious cargo safe. Available in Standard (54” x 18”) to fit small and mid-sized pickups (i.e., Tacoma, Frontier) and XL (61” x 20”) for full coverage on the biggest trucks (i.e., Tundra, F250).
Enduro Fanny 5L
RMU made the Enduro Fanny because they wanted to get the pack off their backs for those hotter days, without giving up any of the functionality. The Enduro Fanny has enough space for the essentials: tools, a reservoir or bottle, snacks, a spare jacket, etc. It uses the same waterproof fabric as all their packs, has thoughtful organization for tools and it even fits a helmet (for when hiking is the only way up). Aluminum hardware, a bright interior and a stowable bottle pocket round out a bag that punches above its volume.
