Swift’s Saranac 15 is a light-touring kayak that offers unprecedented speed, tracking and roominess. With an optimum load range of 170 – 325 lbs. you don’t need to pack light, and you’ll have lots of leg room under the deck.
The increased waterline offers better glide; speed is easily maintained, and noticeable – the Saranac outpaced the polymer boats in our group. It is also extremely lightweight. The Hybrid Fusion model weighs in at 38 lbs., the Kevlar Fusion 34 lbs., and the Carbon Fusion 32 lbs. (add two pounds for skeg).
