Dave Barnes

In these times of isolation, it seems like so many of us are turning to the arts for salvation, sharing online museum tours, links to films, artists, musicians and photography that inspires us. Art and artists has always been a big part of Mountain Life, so it was a real treat to include Dave Barnes in our 10th Anniversary issue. Dave has been working with the Coast Mountains magazine since issue number 1 and his unique style is ubiquitous with our look. Sitting with Dave in his home and talk about art, life and “the warmth of human error” made for one of my favourite artist profiles we’ve ever done.
