The latest for summer ’21 from Gregory.
The 3D Hydro Trek is the latest addition to Gregory’s line of reservoirs, adding a dash of innovation to the traditional reservoir. Well suited to backpacking, hiking and backcountry basecamps, the 3D Hydro Trek fits at the top of a backpack, which both keeps the load evenly distributed and facilitates easy trail access in larger, top-loading packs. Its round and shallow shape keeps it balanced and secured under a drawstring closure or top compression, and it’s compatible with any filtration system.
To enable basecamp mode, simply hang the reservoir from its top hook, push down on the button pour spout at the bottom, and water will flow quickly from the bottom, making it a hassle-free camp kitchen companion for filling stoves, water bottles or hand washing. It features the classic staples of the 3D Hydro collection, with its soft-molded and quick-drying design, SpeedClip mounting system and DryLock magnetic bite valve for leak-free storage.

Three Modes:
1. Backpacking Mode
The unique round shape is designed to fit in any multi-day top loading pack, secured by the drawstring closure and top compression—keeping your pack load balanced and allowing quick access for mid-day filtration.
2. Basecamp Mode
Push-button water delivery system for when you settle down at camp with included universal hanger.
3. Day Hiking Mode
Compatible with 3D Hydro enabled packs, featuring the SpeedClip hydration mounting system for cross-over use.

This Just In! Gregory’s first-ever plus-size pack collection.
The long-awaited Plus Size Collection—including hiking, backpacking, and everyday adventure packs—is now available.
With 14 different pack styles across the day-hiking, hydration, multi-day backpacking and lifestyle categories, the new collection addresses sizing gaps and provides pack solutions for hikers and backpackers of all sizes. The collection fits the apparel equivalent of 2x through 6x sizing.

The Gregory team worked hand-in-hand with Jenny Bruso and her group, Unlikely Hikers, to design the collection. Jenny and her team provided feedback every step of the way, aiding designers with prototype testing, fit testing and product reviews during the research and development process. The end result is a collection of packs that are built to fit and be comfortable for all hikers.
“For years, I just had to ‘make it work’ with gear that was uncomfortable, didn’t fit and wasn’t safe,” explained Bruso. “It’s more than inconvenient; when gear isn’t made for you, you start to internalize that message after time and it feels like you are not welcome or shouldn’t be out there in the first place. Gregory is changing that.”

The new packs not only make spending time outside more comfortable and enjoyable, but they also help create a more inclusive outdoor space—where people of all shapes, sizes and colors have a voice, and feel welcome and safe.
“We want to empower everyone to hit the trail,” said John Sears, Vice President of Gregory Packs. “When we started this project we quickly realized, through research and the outpouring of support, that there is a huge gap in sizing in outdoor gear. We have always supported and partnered with groups to create a more inclusive outdoor community.”

The plus size collection is one of many initiatives that fall under Gregory’s larger Gateway Program, which is about creating a more inclusive outdoors and sharing the benefits of discovering and experiencing the outdoors. Gregory makes this possible through the products they offer, like the plus size collection and gender-balanced pack selection, a commitment to youth backpacking, and partnerships with groups such as Big City Mountaineers that focus on equitable access to the outdoors for underprivileged communities.

I soooo want one of these. But Gregory have decided not to stock them in Europe. This feels crazy and so non-inclusive. After a load of cancer treatments, I’m distinctly plus side and my fave osprey pack isn’t really comfy any more…
Maybe you could find them on Amazon? Or try Gregory customer service.
