Let’s put an emphasis on ‘we’. Because we’re better when we work together. Take our 15-plus years of award-winning magazines for example. They wouldn’t be possible without dedicated readers, amazing stories, photography from contributors, and support from advertisers. But all of that is in question at the moment. The world is in a unique standstill, and the streets could get even quieter if people don’t listen to the powers that be and follow self-isolation guidelines.
But alas, we are not health officials. What we are is experts in delivering tales from the mountains, tips on how to stay physically and mentally healthy, and much more—and that’s what we intend to keep doing. Over the next few weeks, we’ll put a special focus on pieces from our publications that are relevant to what we are all going through, and we’ll continue to deliver the epic tales from the outdoors that we’re known for. To do something to help cure your boredom, we’ve put together a little something special.
Introducing our Curated COVID-19 Isolation reading list. Editors from each of our publications have gone through and compiled a list of pieces from past issues of Mountain Life for you to enjoy, and we’re excited to share them with you. Sit back and relax, because we might be in this for the long haul. But most importantly, let’s not forget to do this together. —ML
