Helly Hansen invites people to embrace the outdoors during Open Mountain Month.

Now in its fourth year, Helly Hansen’s Open Mountain Month invites both seasoned adventurers and outdoor newcomers to embrace all the mountains have to offer. Throughout June and beyond, the company is hosting a series of events, experiences and educational resources designed to inspire and empower everybody to spend more time outdoors.
The events draw on the expertise of search-and-rescue partners, outdoor pros and brand ambassadors, sharing tips and seasoned insights. This year’s theme highlights the power of shared challenges and experiences—including an examination of friluftsliv, the Norwegian philosophy of embracing life outdoors.
“At Helly Hansen, our purpose is to enable life-enhancing experiences between people and the power of nature, and Open Mountain Month brings this to life in a truly meaningful, shared way. Being ‘alive’ isn’t just about reaching a summit—it’s about discovering new trails, taking on personal challenges and building connections with others along the journey,” says Courtney Tennant, Brand Activation Manager at Helly Hansen Canada.
“From family-friendly adventures and community hikes to guided experiences led by several of our amazing professional ambassadors, this summer’s program is designed to welcome everyone and, when experienced together, allows us to truly feel alive in the outdoors.”
