Above and beyond the ingredients, Backpacker’s Pantry has donated hundreds of thousands to organizations including: 1% for the Planet, American Hiking Society, Community Food Share, The Conservation Alliance, Continental Divide Trail Coalition and Outdoor Afro.

About the fit: it’s like a trail-runner, with a lugged outsole to provide traction on dry sand and wet loam. We also appreciate the one-pull lace closure lock system, which is efficient and reliable. We found the Facet 75 Alpha runs slightly large in the sizing but it was nothing that a cushioned sock couldn’t fix.
