The comprehensive MIPS and Koroyd protection is undisputed and brings peace of mind. And the visor is very child-friendly. When the visor is down, there is more of a gap than with a conventional goggle, and in blizzard conditions, the visor may let in some snow. We had no issues with lens fogging but did not test the Survey Jr. in extreme conditions or with a balaclava or heavy neck gaiter. (We tested it in moderate temps with a light, breathable neck gaiter.)
