Evelyn Trempe launched Lolë in Montreal nearly 20 years ago after she noticed a lack of good tech apparel and outerwear for women. In particular, she found much of it bland and lacking in verve. Thus began the mission: to create a high-quality collection for women who want to explore outside in style and live mindfully every day.

The new men’s collection is the latest stage of this always-evolving, sustainability-focused Canadian brand.

Terra Sports Pants

You’ll feel instantly fitter and ready for the trail in these breathable pants ideal for running, yoga, cycling, and any kind of training.

These slim-fit pants are designed to make you feel supported and upwardly mobile thanks to the four-way stretch and zips on the bottom hems (designed so you can easily put them on/take them off over shorts). The streamlined bottom hems also serve well for cycling. (This is the sort of typically thoughtful detailLolë is known for.)

The adjustable hand-tie stretchy waist is a big plus for comfort. Plus, they’re moisture-wicking, meaning you can sweat with confidence, knowing you’ll be comfortable after a long sesh. Front hand pockets and a zipped back and side pocket are perfect for any small to-go items.

From switchback hiking trails to a morning SUP session to an afternoon singletrack ride, these pants are designed for it all.

They’re named for Newfoundland’s Terra Nova National Park. With 400 square kilometres of wilderness, its deep woods and pristine coastline will keep you exploring. And these are the pants for it. (They’re also comfortable under a shell when the weather turns.)

Features:
  • Hand pockets on the front.
  • Zipped back and side pockets with lockdown zippers.
  • Side zips on the bottom hems with lockdown zippers.
  • Reflective logos.
  • Four-way stretch.
  • Breathable.
  • Moisture-wicking.
  • Water-repellent protection.
  • Easy care.
  • Made of recycled fibers.

Odin Down Vest

Named after the highest mountain on Nunavut’s fabled Baffin Island, the Odin Vest is designed to protect you from icy temps and wind with the versatility only a vest can offer.

Mid-weight with a removable hood, this vest is made of responsibly sourced, traceable down (from Allied Feather + Down). Zipped hand pockets and an interior storage mean you can bring along phone, wallet, nutrition or anything else needed for your day. A magnetic storm placket over the zipper adds extra protection.

Like allLolë pieces, it is equally at home in the wilderness or on the boulevard.

This is a super-versatile layer for high-output activities (think snowshoeing, scrambling) and also to throw on for a walk to the mailbox or supermarket on a cold day. The removable hood is a handy feature: take it off if you need to be streamlined, put it back on and it will save you the bother of wearing a hat, since it is 700 fill power down (just like the rest of the vest).

And you can feel even better about your vest because the shell and lining material is made of recycled fibres.

Features:
  • Mid-weight.
  • Classic fit.
  • Removable hood.
  • Zipped hand pockets.
  • Interior storage.
  • Magnetic storm placket.
  • Lolë patch.
  • Responsibly sourced, traceable down. Fill power 700.
  • Made of recycled fibers.
  • Water-repellent protection.
  • Windproof.
  • Easy-care.

Haffner Light Weight Insulated Jacket

The lightweight and sleek Haffner Jacket is ideal for running, training, climbing, cycling, hiking, travel and everyday use.

The jacket is named for Kootenay National Park‘s Haffner Creek, a popular ice-climbing zone. In this spirit, it is designed to allow a total range of motion. With four-way stretch, articulated sleeves and raglan seams, you’re nimble and ready to explore in any environment.

Lots of zipped pockets mean plenty of storage options. Lightweight and made with sustainable synthetic Thermore down (100% recycled, as is the lining), the Haffner offers enough warmth and breathability for spring/fall missions, or milder winter days when you’re working hard. And it’s thin enough to wear under a shell.

Features:
  • Lightweight.
  • Zipped hand pockets.
  • Interior pocket.
  • Articulated sleeves.
  • Raglan seams.
  • Contrast lining.
  • Four-way stretch.
  • Breathable.
  • Easy care.
  • Durable water repellent.
  • Thermore® insulation.
  • Recycled fibers.

How many turns did you earn last winter? Most skiers and boarders would be proud to say they logged a week with no chairlifts and zero auxiliary help to the top—or toured exclusively for a month. 40 2
