Dave Treadway was many things: a big mountain master, a world-class snowmobiler and skiier, and an adventurer unlike any other—but talk to anyone who knew him and they’ll tell you what he took pride in most was being a father. When he passed away last April, he left behind a legacy in his children, his wife Tessa, and the entire Treadway clan. Here’s a small tribute to one part of that clan that towards the end of his time on earth defined him and his skiing perhaps more than anyone else. —ML
