Hydro Flask’s new Down Shift Hydration Pack (14L) features a well-designed Cold Flow System with insulated reservoir and built-in neoprene sleeve to keep water deep-chilled for 4+ hours. Cold water we like, but even better is the internal design of the pack.

The unique square-shaped sleeve (which also boasts a reflective lining) located down near the base of the pack is a better use of space and weight distribution. Unlike other systems, where a full-length reservoir and sleeve means you have to squish everything else you’re carrying around it, the 14L interior of this pack holds more stuff with easier access.

Another bonus is the reservoir sleeve not only keeps your water cold but contains the condensation inevitable if you’re adding ice to your reservoir. The last thing you want is to pull out your extra layers or snacks and find them damp, right?

The 2L reservoir is not huge—if you ride all day in the heat, you might want a bigger pack and reservoir. But for shorter rides you won’t find a more efficient or more comfortable system anywhere.

Other new goods from Hydro Flask:

Hydro Flask Trail Series
With enough capacity to fuel your next big adventure, the Lightweight Trail Series bottles are 25 percent lighter than Hydro Flask’s other 24oz  and 32oz wide mouth bottles thanks to an innovative stainless steel design.

Hydro Flask Flex Sip Coffee
Hydro Flask reinvents its coffee lineup with the all-new Flex Sip lid – pairing the popular Flex Strap with a leakproof design that twists to unlock the Smooth Flow Opening for worry-free sipping on the go.

Quick to clean and comfy to carry, the insulated lid works in tandem with TempShield double wall vacuum insulation and stainless steel construction to keep hot liquids hot for 12 hours, or cold for up to 24. The Flex Sip Coffee collection includes 12 oz, 16 oz and 20 oz sizes that match your favorite coffee shop in a streamlined, easy-grip bottle design. Plus, the Flex Sip lid is made to fit any of the brand’s Wide Mouth Bottles, so it’s versatile for whatever you’re sipping.

The Southern Interior region of BC holds an ecological cross-section of the province with alpine meadows, arid Douglas fir grasslands, damp cedar and hemlock forests of the Columbia Mountains and the warm expanse of Shuswap Lake.

Conceived by superhuman snowboarder @travisrice, the @naturalselection Tour highlights earth’s premier riders, from big-mountain mavens to Olympians, all competing on the most stoketastic—and unpredictable—terrain known to humankind.
Built upon a shared desire to enjoy, respect, and advocate for Alberta’s incredible landscapes, it was a natural fit for @elementsoutfitters to work with a local conservation organization @saltslandtrust to highlight the province’s rugged beauty and outdoor apparel to match.
