Coming this fall from Kombi, a new baselayer—RedHEAT—promises to be something new and improved for high-output winter activities.

Let’s face it: overheating is almost as bad as being cold. As Survivorman says, “you sweat, you die.” So we were intrigued by this temperature-regulating fabric made of naturally sourced carbon microcrystals that retain body heat while absorbing sweat. RedHEAT also neutralizes odors, offers UVA and UVB sun protection, and is extra soft and non-itchy: perfectly adapted to the most sensitive and reactive skin types.

We’re looking forward to giving Kombi’s RedHEAT a test drive this fall. Stay tuned.
