Designed as a lightweight, three-in-one tent system that’s perfect for those whose camping partners vary from trip to trip—solo backpacking one weekend and camping with the family or friends the next—Cotopaxi’s Inti 2 is an ultra-versatile shelter that’s adaptable to many situations. The system comprises an ultralight, two-person, standalone tent, its rainfly, and a snap-in“ alcove” that seamlessly integrates with the tent—effectively doubling the sleeping and storage space. The tent sleeps two, features a double-wall construction, and uses just three poles.

A super-tough 15D water-resistant ripstop nylon and ultralight mesh are the main materials employed for the body, selected for their low weight and proven functionality. We added a bathtub floor for protection at the ground level, two zippered doors for convenience, and a mesh canopy to promote maximum breathability and views of your surroundings. This spacious, symmetrical design provides ample floor space and headroom, and four integrated mesh storage pockets and internal gear loft give you plenty of stash zones for small essentials. The simple, lightweight body means it’s a perfect one- or two-person backpacking tent, and the 20D water-resistant, PU-backed ripstop nylon rainfly with integrated vestibules lets you batten down the hatches when the weather turns—keeping you, your comrade, and gear dry.

With its built-in bathtub floor, single-pole setup, and multiple guy-out points, the versatile Inti 2 Alcove transitions from standalone shelter to a snap-in, additional room for the Inti—effectively doubling the living quarters. On its own, it serves as an ultra-minimal two-person shelter; integrated with the tent, the Alcove adds room for two adults or additional gear. This makes the Inti 2 Tent System adaptable to a wide range of adventures—stripped down for solo backpacking missions one weekend and as a complete package with a group of friends the next.
