Video: Scientists Capture Footage Of Giant Squid For Second Time Ever

Raise your hand if you like nature. If your hand is raised, keep reading. For the first time ever in U.S. waters and the second time in human history, scientists have captured footage of the elusive Giant Squid. Captured in the Gulf Of Mexico, scientists used an underwater camera dubbed Medusa, meant to mimic a jellyfish with a ring of lights and attract sea creatures. Scientists involved in the project compared getting footage of these beasts to a lightning strike, so understandably they were excited.
