With niche magazines still highly coveted amongst a large demographic of readers across Canada, the publishers of Mountain Life wanted to offer something new and unique to the magazine world, and set out to hire an editor who could speak to the right audience. They are excited to announce that Taylor Godber, a snowboard athlete, winter-lover and wellness and environment advocate based in Whistler BC, has joined the team. Taylor has worked with Mountain Life as a freelance contributor and assistant editor before and is excited to take the reins.
“I’m so stoked for this opportunity, ” Godber says. “I want this magazine to celebrate all avenues of snow culture, winter sports and the visionaries and personalities behind it all. It’s a magazine that supports the common denominator in all of us—that uncompromising desire to seek adventure in below-zero temperatures, by any means necessary.”
“Our advertising partners make the best products and provide the best services in the world, so we want to offer them a top-notch publication that reaches all the right people,”says Mountain Life Publisher Todd Lawson. “With Taylor’s experience and passion for winter and our proven, free distribution model, it’s a win-win for both readers and advertisers alike.”
We’re stoked for you to check it out. – ML
