From Press Release: The 2017 Whistler Excellence Awards are “Igniting Excellence!” This is the business and community celebration of the year that brings everyone from youthful innovators to longtime local legends out to recognize the best in the community. The Whistler Excellence Awards presented by Blue Shore Financial, hosted by the Whistler Chamber in partnership with the Community Foundation of Whistler and the Whistler Arts Council celebrate excellence in the areas of service, innovation, sustainability, outstanding leadership in the arts, business and community service.
The awards will take place on Thursday, May 11 at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler, with returning emcee Feet Banks entertaining guests, as the evening celebrates the theme of Igniting Excellence like only Whistler can. Attendance at the annual event continues to grow each year, with hundreds of Whistler locals coming together for the annual black tie business and community awards. Seats are filling up fast with 320 tickets already sold, well ahead of last year’s sales pace. The Whistler Chamber expects this year’s celebration will again be the largest to date.
