Six years ago, Hogue took a chance and moved to Whistler B.C. with a backpack, a camera and the hopes of taking photos in the backcountry. The mountains and the people who explore them are her primary muse. Inspired by a challenge and a solid adventure, Hogue¹s winters are spent on a snowmobile in the backcountry accessing remote locations. In the summers, she heads south and the ocean, desert and rainforests become her prominent backdrops.

In a relatively short amount of time, Hogue develop a wide client list including Oakley, Element, MTV Music Entertainment, Absinthe Films, and has been published worldwide in such publications as Transworld Snowboarding, Snowboarder, ESPN.com, Flare and Pleasure Snowboard Magazine. Now, Hogue is in the running to win X Games Zoom Photography Contest and an X Games Gold Medal.
