Remember waaaaay back when flashlights were a thing? Neither do we. Headlamps obviously reign supreme in the outdoor world, and for good reason. Imagine chopping kindling in the dark while holding a flashlight with one hand? Thanksfully brands like Pelican have LED the way (sorry, couldn’t resist) with great headlamps that keep us adventuring no matter what time of day or night.
We liked the simplicity of the 2760 — just one button on and off, and easy to put in the batteries. The light is bright enough to light your way in the dark when pedaling down singletrack, you can tone it down when reading in the tent and it has a super-bright emergency blinking mode that you’ll hopefully never have to use. The weather-resistant casing is a great plus too, as you can wear it in a downpour or snowstorm without anything happening.
The only major drawback was the degree of swivel. Basically about 20-degrees not enough. More flexibility and range would be appreciated.
All in all, great bang for your buck from a brand that knows a thing or two about life outside.
