From G3:
G3’s mission is to inspire and enable people to get the most out of their winter backcountry experiences, and this winter they wanted to go beyond just making light and reliable gear to literally get people into the backcountry. From the R&D side of things, G3 knows first hand how much knowledge can be gained and shared from the ski community as a whole, and saw an opportunity to enable the sharing of backcountry insight and experience via the #G3U project. In short, G3U is a brand-new but ever growing library of backcountry insider tip videos and blogs from G3’s athletes, ambassadors, and industry partners. The content ranges from ever popular climbing skin care and maintenance tips and myth busters to skin track efficiency, ski mountaineering, snow safety, trips & expeditions, and more. None of the content is meant to replace proper safety or mountain travel training, rather, they are simply refreshers/reminders for experienced backcountry users, and teasers for new users to encourage them to step outside of their every day ski program, up skill, learn some new skills, practice, and get more out of their backcountry experiences now and in the future.
