MSR Papa Hubba Tent

Lightweight and versatile…these are about the only two words you need to hear when looking to buy a new tent. And the MSR Papa Hubba has both in spades.
We tested this backcountry home on two separate occasions and couldn’t find too much to nitpick about. The best feature was the roominess factor. We had a pretty rainy evening so five of us gathered inside and didn’t feel super-duper squished. It easily kept the rain out and was a breeze to set-up. The two-door system is a definite plus, as is the weight – at just over 2.5 kg it can be split up between two people and used as a roomy backpacking tent, perfect if you’re hiking with kids. —Todd Lawson
