After a chance encounter at a local crag on Vancouver Island, B.C., Brazilian photographer Peruzzo had the opportunity to work with world champion climber, Maja Vidmar in Victoria.
“She was ready to try something a little different and I proposed we do an urban buildering shoot,” he says. “A few days later we met up and she climbed various city cracks, sea wall boulders and light-house lines in the city of Victoria B.C. She had quite the spectator group as she climbed and we were able to put together this epic collection. The day itself was magical. The light, wind, and ocean all conspired for a beautiful shoot. It was a pleasure working with Maja, but more importantly making a new connection in the larger international climb community.”
