Arc’teryx Climbing Academy: The Perfect Mountain Experience

The Arc’teryx Climbing Academy (formerly the Squamish Mountain Fest) will feature a smorgasbord of international speakers, educational seminars and clinics on topics related to climbing. This year’s event – in Squamish, BC, July 10–12 – boasts clinics and workshops in the Squamish Valley as well as the summit of Sea To Sky Gondola. Check out the venue map here.

Clinic locations will be in the Squamish Valley and the Sea to Sky Gondola summit. The Sea to Sky clinics include crack climbing techniques with Will Gadd, women’s advanced trad climbing with Brette Harrington, and many more.

 

 

Hive Outside, brought to you by The Hive Bouldering Gym, is debuting at the 2015 Arc’teryx Climbing Academy. The focus is to bring The Hive’s key pillars of Climbing, Education and Community from their indoor facilities to the greater outdoor community and share the joys of climbing, health and adventure with everyone.

At the Academy, Hive Outside will be unveiling their new outdoor bouldering wall. Here, they will host experiential learning activities for youth and parents. Hive Outside will also be closing out the weekend’s festivities with an epic dyno comp.

The Academy also includes a trade fair, live music, and a lot more.
