When’s the last time you sat down to write your life’s mission?
The vast majority of us have never taken the time to pen out the meaning of life. Tim Emmett has – but then again, Tim Emmett is not like the vast majority of us.
Since 1998, Tim has been rock and ice climbing professionally. He’s been doing a lot of other things, too: coaching, teaching, deep water soloing, BASE jumping, record breaking, traveling, skiing, snowboarding, hosting TV shows, mountain biking, and public speaking, to name a few. The point of it all, as outlined in his personal mission statement, is “to pioneer, fill life with rich experience, and help others to do the same.”
While traveling the world and tackling some of the world’s toughest climbs might seem like extraordinary events, they’re really just part of Tim’s ordinary day-to-day life – yet there are some exceptional places, moments, and memories that have managed to stand out from the rest. We caught up with Tim to find out more, and to get a glimpse into what we’re in for at his MULTIPLICITY presentation, coming April 12 at the World Ski and Snowboard Festival.
