Letting the Good Times Roll, Squamish Style

Text & photography by Jimmy Martinello.

Winter – what to make of it this year? Well, I say roll with it: the Sea to Sky is a world of its own when it comes to beauty and adventure. I must have mentioned a thousand times in the last few weeks how mega our home is and how blessed we are to live here.

I know there hasn’t been a lot of powder this year but hey it’s still sweet out there on the upper mountains and the sun has been shining. I’ve spent the last few weeks enjoying the skiing with my family but have also enjoyed questing out onto Howe Sound to SUP over to the amazing granite walls that line the ocean floor from Anvil Island to Squamish.

There is a crew of dedicated friends putting up and sending beautiful rock lines out there. The Jan/Feb sun has made it a magical place to be, too.

Let’s make 2015 incredible, creative and diverse: a world of goodness and expression of the soul. Lift up and blast off, share, care, rock out and groove on. I hope to see you out in the Sea to Sky Corridor.
