You may remember the Traslin brothers, Mike and Andy. We talked about them a few months back. At 8 years of skiing every month, the guys have hit a new milestone – a solid 100 months of consecutive days skiing.
The ultimate in “earning your turns”, the brothers have hiked much of the Pacific Northwest and travelled all around the world for a solid day’s shred. They’ve skied literally every kind of snow imaginable in those months, from powder to corn to slush to ice to rain.

Why bring this up today? Well, apart from the obvious congratulations to the two, this comes at never a more perfect time. It seems no one is getting snow this year (except France, but you have to deal with Europeans).

The fact of the matter is, there’s no reason why people should be complaining that the snow is no good. It may not be, but that hasn’t stopped Mike and Andy from going out and looking for it. Just like you, some days are better than others. The days that are good are often great, and the ones that aren’t? Well, at least they got off the couch.
Mike and Andy, we salute you. Here’s to 100 more months of Living It Up.

Special Thanks to our friends at G3, who set the boys up with the best gear out there.
