“I wish I knew how long it took to put up a route like this, but I don’t have a clue – because nobody’s done it.” That’s Captain Adventure and Arc’teryx athlete Will Gadd talking about climbing at Helmcken Falls, a gargantuan 150-metre waterfall gorge in Wells Gray Provincial Park, BC. “There’s no manual on how to climb at Helmcken,” he adds.

Imagine the worst possible conditions to make a film and you might come close to what the crew at Reel Water Productions went through to make Frozen Titans, the story of Gadd’s monumental mixed climbing epic.
