Arc’teryx climber Jonathan Siegrist travels for most of the year, hitting pitches in a dozen countries and numerous states and provinces. “Climbing is everything to me,” he writes on his blog. “So much so, that it overwhelms nearly every aspect of my life, my plans and my goals….It’s something of a tragedy in some ways because I’m so passionate about all kinds of traveling and yet I really only visit climbing destinations.”
Last fall, Siegrist followed his beautiful obsession to the colossal dolostone bluffs at Lion’s Head, Ontario. With a long list of punishing climbs under his harness, and proportionate support of sponsors, he proves his grit on another climb scant of holds. Watch him deliver high above Georgian Bay on one of eastern North America’s most demanding routes.
