Five Ten designed the Stonelands for a crazy-comfortable fit that belies the serious inner strength of its newly designed last. The split-grain leather upper conforms to the foot like a second skin. Inside is Five Ten’s secret performance weapon, the new Stonelands Heel Cup and Midsole stiffener.
Five Ten climber Jessa Goebel reviews the Stonelands:
“Over the last season I have gotten the opportunity to test the Stonelands VCS. With red leather uppers and black terrycloth-like lining this shoe has snug out-of-box comfort. As their first test I took them out to Bridge Buttress at the New River Gorge and proceeded to climb on my rope solo circuit. Without ever taking the shoes off I comfortably climbed eight pitches of cracks ranging from 5.9 to 5.11+. After the eighth pitch my feet felt like they had only been in the shoes for one pitch. As for the performance, they excelled in foot jams, edging, and smearing.”
