Crawling The Beaver: A Fun Triathlon

For most, fun and triathlon are words that do not go together. But this Friday (Canada Day!), The Town of the Blue Mountains, Free Spirit Tours and the C4YC are attempting to bring the fun back to triathlon. The first annual Beaver Crawl Triathlon is a non-traditional triathlon: participants start at Talisman and bike to Heathcote, then paddle the Beaver River to Slabtown before running to Clarksburg. This event is open to everyone. Profits will go towards a community garden at the Town of the Blue Mountains Public Library. Hope to see you out there, this should be a fun time. Register here. The paddling section of the race will probably NOT look like this.
